Water Baptism 2024
On Sunday, August 11th, our church held a water baptism. After fulfilling an important commandment of Christ, ten young people made a covenant with the Lord and promised to serve Him with a pure and good conscience.
As a tradition, the water baptism took place in the waters of Lake Erie, the service continued at the Summit building. There, along with the entire church, the newly baptized members took part in another important commandment of Christ — the Lord's Supper — for the first time.
To remember this special day, Pastor Gennadiy Bogdanets handed out baptism certificates and some keepsakes to the group. We congratulate all the newly baptized brothers and sisters on joining God's big family and wish them abundant blessings and freedom in the Lord!
